A Few Videos From Last Night - Enjoy

Hey Guys,

As you all know last night was the 4th of July. I got back to my house
around 12:30 or so and my neighbors were setting off quarter sticks
of dynamite in my court.

Luckily I had my camera handy and got a couple videos of the explosions.
You may not find it too cool, but I thought it was pretty wicked.

Either way... enjoy.

They are all real short, just make sure your volume is cranked way up

Haha it was my first time seeing quarter sticks in person so my reactions

Was it real dynamite, or something homemade? My friend's father was a chemist/chemistry teacher, he used to make his own fireworks for the 4th, and even some nice "sticks" for a little backwater fishing lol... Gunpowder + black cannon powder...

Although I heard a horror story of a women taking one in the face.

ouch. if she lived i am sure shes missing a good portion of her face.. We where hanging out with these musicians from Germany who never lit fireworks before so we went to a Indian reservation and hooked it up!

Mortars.. sheesh. Some dumbass in the county next to mine took one to school one day. He's now in a wheelchair for life, and seriously injured several of his classmates. Granted, this was back in the 90s... Anyway, be careful with those suckers, they're built to kill (not that dynamite is a snap'n'pop..)

Yah mortars are no joke. We were shooting some off in my backyard, they were pretty tight. But they aren't something to be stupid with. Its best to light them in the tube off concrete. I seen a few dumb asses on youtube fire them off grass and the tube falls and pumps the mortar at them or their house.

Idiots.

Seems like common sense but you'd be surprised.

A few years back some kids in michigan were launching mortars out of there sunroof while driving... Guess what happenned?
One hit the roof bounced back in and exploded.. They all had sever burns and hospitalization
