I am trying to upload media to include with a reply on my sales thread, but I keep getting this error:

The uploaded file is too large for the server to process.

What are the current upload limits of images to BHW, as IMGUR is banned?

This image is 2mb.

Yeah I face this problem quite often as well. So whatever my mobile camera takes, I can’t directly share it on bhw.

As a hack I first send the picture to telegram saved messages, re download and then upload it, which i don’t like doing. A bigger file size limit will be very much appreciated (even if bhw scales it down it’s not a big deal for me personally, but that may be bad for the sales thread owners).

I think to large files in the forum will cause unnecessary download for members with slow connections and paying for bandwidth. If it is images, try to optimize them instead for those users.

Yes, I can understand that, but it will be helpful to know the upload limit so we can have a indication what's considered 'too large' by the BHW crew.

I guess bhw should use bunny too haha.

Probably the limit is 1mb? Not 100% sure.

I think cloudflare images can be a good option to integrate here.
They aren't too pricey.

That was from 2022, before the BHW Media update.

Attachments are 1mb limit
Media has a 2mb limit (Currently Jr. VIP and Marketplace seller only)

However, I tried uploading one that was 2MB, and it didn't go through.

An image I did upload that was 1.92MB went through, though.

Try to keep attachments under 1MB and it should work. This kind of issue isn't too uncommon even on popular platforms; hell, even my WordPress sites throw this error up when something "exactly" meets the maximum upload sizes. The specificity as to why this happens is unnecessary, though.
