I have quit all drugs; cigarettes, coffee, alcohol, weed and also quit porn, masturbation, gambling and gaming and started a new diet.

Basically, I'm trying to reinvent myself, but I find living sober to be boring as hell.

Some people say 'moderation is key' but I'm an extreme person - I either do it or I don't do it.

How do I avoid these temptations while still living a fulfilling life? I have no answer to that question so maybe if some of you have the key, let me know!

Move to a retirement home.

They seem to have some fun.

How long has it been? Man, that's some strong will..wish i were that strong.
It's been 2 days and I'm just not sure what to do with myself anymore. I'm not a very social person so forging friendships and that BS is out of the window.

I feel like I'll cave if I don't come up with something.

Take a walk bro. You don’t have any river side where you live? If you do, go there and take a walk. Not only will it be good for your physical health, but it will be good for your mental health as well. Tested. ;)

do you do any sport or outdoor activity? like hiking, campin? i suggest you do this often.
meditate daily also help

Get a money addiction. Keeps my mind off vices as I need to be thinking clearly to make the best choices. (lol)

i don't stop it all buddy, but i cut down and walk while i work, it doesn't make me boring

Why are you punishing yourself like this? Just enjoy life while you can. Unless you are saving it for old age

Why cut off everything?
You can be very effective when drinking coffee & energy drinks.
Energy drinks and coffee connect to the same receptors in your brain as cigarettes. When he drinks a coffee now, he has a great desire to smoke.

Edit: Moreover, it can have the same effects even if he has not smoked for years.

It's always hardest when you first start out but I am sure you know that already. I've recently quit a number of bad habits too but I kept enough to keep me distracted :anyway:
