How to change Instagram BASED IN?

Anybody knows how to change the location of your Instagram account based in country?
I mean I live in a third world country and I want to always have my account based in UNITED STATES.

I think changing the location of your profile ( from the "Edit Profile" button) does not change the location of your account. Your account will still be based in the country where it was created.
So you will need to create a new account using a US-based IP address using VPN or proxy server.

You are right partly, but not to create a new account. I think maybe with some residental proxys or 4g proxys that the Insta will stay active?

I've been able to do this on some of my accounts. I logged in with ipv4 datacenter proxies and only shared posts.(about 2 weeks)

and do you need to keep your instagram logged in all the time for that to not revert back?

Yes, you should not log in with another ip and be long active.

And don't forget to check this after login with proxy. Usa not showing on some proxies.

its possible let say your in India and your account is say India based
if you strap a usa ip to that account its possible your account will
get banned.

the correct way for Usa account is a USA sim / usa listed account

i think location of account creation matters the most, as well location of the email (if it was for example icloud of a specific country), followed by phone number and first few accounts you follow / interact with - this is just based on my experience, not quantifiable data

Install US in app store & app language

Interact mainly with US people & content

2. Go to Settings -> Accounts Center -> Password and security -> Where you've logged in -> Tap your account -> Log out of all previous sessions, select ALL and Press LOG OUT
3. Start posting only using the proxy, don't switch to your connection otherwise won't work

I've seen people use this. Works most of the time, but sometimes app updates cause errors. I might give it a try sometime
