Anyone know how the bid process works for local business google guaranteed?
Also, I notice that google also shows the google reviews for this too, I take it the for your local business to show top 1-3 for google guaranteed ad, isn’t determined by the google reviews a company has?

It’s definitely not by reviews since some companies have like 9 reviews and they are top for the google local services. I’m not sure how they rank it though.

You set your bid on how much you're willing to pay for a lead. Ranking is determined by bid, not by reviews.

LSA are set by your budget. I set my weekly spend to 5K and we are always in the Mix for local service ads/ google guaranteed. You have to provide a background check, insurance and licensing to use local service ads and google guaranteed.

Yes, I run these ads for my business. You can also use a "maximize leads" bidding mode and set a weekly budget and let Google bid for you. See attached photo.

You can't target keywords with this type of ads, they work per vertical/industry for the services each business offer.
It's a pain to manage, but the results are pretty nice.

This is not just a toggle you turn on. You must go through some tests to check you are really qualified to perform the jobs, a background check, business license, insurance, and some positive reviews from verified clients that came through your campaigns.

So photos of past jobs that have been completed and are the reviews verified Google reviews or writing emails from customers?
Do you also know how long the company needs to be going for to get accepted?

Verified reviews from clients, submissions of actual certifications, insurance policy stating the name of the company or individual.
You can get it even as a one-man company.

I do not think reviews are mandatory to get the google guaranteed badge. You do have to pass a background check, license check and have the correct insurance. We got the badge with only 5 reviews now we have almost 100.. It is our best lead source..
