Recovery does not matter much I think to me but the right treatment does.
if treatment goes wrong it hurts. nowadays there is so much carelessness in the doctor's profession.
Even if spending a huge $$ there is no guarantee that you will get good treatment.

That is the truth, brother!!! My country is absolutely on the wrong track of this. They no longer hire you for your ability in my country but rather for who you know or what you identify as... Sure we are still "above the curve" so to speak, but give it 5-10 years and all of these disastrous policies will have very clear consequences.

It took me two years to get my gallbladder removed, throwing up almost daily. Because none would listen to me. 4 Days before my surgery, I went into the hospital for violent vomiting and needed Fenegrin. The ER doctor came in the room and said he "looked at my chart, and it's not my gallbladder. The gallbladder is fine. I am just smoking too much weed."

Well, mind you, I am DRUG TESTED for my job. I don't smoke any weed. 0 reefer consumption. I told him, "That's weird because my gastroenterologist ran a HIDA scan that showed my gallbladder functions at 28%. I'm having it removed Tuesday."

He went on, "on no. no no. that's wrong. that's a normal functioning percentage." (This is just a blatant lie.. nothing operating at 18% is 'normal.')

I said, "Air, respectfully, you don't know what you're talking about. you can google it and see gallbladder function at 40% normally. Could you explain why you're saying these wrong things that conflict with two specialists? Because I'm going to be back in this very same hospital in several days having this gallbladder removed, so it must be a problem of some sort. And frankly, if you 'checked my chart' as you claim to have, you'd see I don't have any weed in my tests. I don't smoke. You people have brushed me off for TWO YEARS over me vomiting daily and would always snub me and say I must be doing drugs. That's a lazy excuse not to do your job. especially when you see I am not on anything. not even weed. i do not even drink alcohol. You haven't looked at my chart. You are saying things that could seriously harm my health if I were to listen to you."

He said, refusing to explain why he was lying about what constitutes a normal gallbladder, "Well, Im not going to argue with you. You can either be quiet or you can leave. Which one will it be."

Later the nurse came in and recognized me from high school. She was very apologetic. Said he's like that to all of his younger patients that go into the Emergency room. She said they dismiss anyone under 30 automatically, just for being young. They only like to focus on older patients..

Yes, so much carelessness, some doctors only work for money and they need to see X amount of patients in an hour lol. the doctors profession is like they need to give time and do it very carefully. the best thing before choosing a doctor is to do self-research and research online what is the best solution for getting treated, and what is my treatment about, how it is being done. Also, it is always advised to consult a lot of doctors and hear and see their opinions. And do consider what you feel good about in choosing a doctor.
