What is going on!!!! Using US Sim card but audience is from India?

I got a unbranded US SIM card from eBay, put it in my phone, didn't use any VPN or proxy. Got US audience on my FYP, but the videos I upload are viewed entirely by either Indian guys or spammy/weird accounts.

This has nothing to do with race or nationality, but my content is about scrapbooking and feminine crafts, it's intended for a female, western audience. Needless to say, this hurt engagement like hell!

I factory reset the phone before creating the TT account. And on my other phone, my Instagram reels are seen and distributed only to India as well?! What's happening?!!!


Will a proxy fix this issue? This is bizzare, and I'm not even from India! Also, I thought TT is banned in India?

If proxies doesn't work either, the problem is probably the SIM card. Maybe I need to get those LycaMobile ones from Amazon.


*note: I didn't use VPNs because my other accounts on other phones got shadowbanned and punished for that previously. Tried Pure VPN, Express and Nord but none works.

You said it yourself YOU DID NOT USE A PROXY. It's like you have a car with just one wheel obviously it won't work properly. You need to get a high quality Proxy preferrably one with a rotation option for it's IP. Make sure you use this setup in a dedicated Mobile Phone.

Can you suggest a good HQ proxy? Is it better to get a residential or mobile proxy?

Always a mobile 4g/5g is better, but proxy alone won't help you.

Enough for one account, but once it gets shadow banned you'll need new card, proxy, etc. Not very sustainable.

The best method is and always will be to use physical phones in the US
I also dont live in the US so I use @TraderBane 's tiktok phone service. Since then ive saved all the headache and cost of esim/Proxy for shadowbanning...
