I have always been a firm-believer of human-supremacy over AI. Each to his own though, everyone is free to make assumptions and labor under all sorts of misapprehension, and delusions - be it AI's supremacy.

I'm pretty sure even the dumbest AI these days is "smarter" than most people and that was not meant to be a compliment for the "AI".

Ofc, I hope I was not understood as if I was inferring that anyone in this thread was dumb, I was speaking about my daily IRL encounters.

In my experience, lacking knowledge of language usually comes down to laziness and people not willing to learn, not actual stupidity, because foreign language at a basic level at least, is one of the easiest skills one can acquire.

Personally, I see their way of posting as low-key spam. But that's just my subjective opinion and I simply try to ignore those people.

It's not, unless we can see that as post-count inflation and/or some sort of spam. If we take a look at OP's screenshot, that thread probably was something to do with instagram login problem and the member suggested reaching out to instagrams support. Like.. wtf.. for real.. anyone who ever tried to use instagram support will know it's absolutely useless and there is no chance that will help.

So the suggestion was misleading, wrong, and useless.

Is bad, misleading and wrong advice better than no advice?

If there is anyone else who is annoyed by them in the same way I feel myself, - just to add them to ignore list.

I tried to call them out once or twice by asking them to elaborate on their advice which I clearly knew are wrong and misleading, but they ignore it.. so much for the big help and wanting to save the world haha.

The generic replies are what pisses me off the most. Its like they try to add their 2 cents but there is just no value in it. Few days ago I opened a thread about getting meta verified..some responses are like bold like "yes, there are methods". Are they trying to increase their post count? Or do they just like to make useless posts?

Also, how someone else already wrote above: How nobody recognizes this guy obviously uses some kind of AI or directly translates from his language to English is beyond me. I mean, for me its no problem. Use a translator as much as you want, but please then at least add some value to the post.

Could be low quality VA's too, using google translate, etc. Lately noticed more than one, they are extremely annoying. I've started to add them to my ignore list as reporting them probably wont get anywhere as technically they are trying to be helpful(to lowkey advertise their sig space) and there are no rules about useless content I think, perhaps I'm wrong.
