IPTS to receive "organic" traffic from... bots?!? For the life of me, I just don't get the point. It must prove helpful under certain circumstances, though, since you're recommending it, but HOW??Check for IPTS or 10Khits.
There are other more expensive options for sure. There was a very interesting topic talking about these options I recommend you to checkIPTS to receive "organic" traffic from... bots?!? In that post you can see both automated and human tested. Some work others not so good. I think it's not about the fact that it's automated or manually done, but that the traffic that is being injected looks natural or doesn't. So basically for each single visit, if you are leaving a footprint for future checks then it will be easily tagged and dimissed. This is why most of the automated software try to offer some randomization options on their simulations. But if you don't set them appropiately they won't go through. This is by far the most difficult thing of automating almost anything for marketing purposes.Thank you @SirLouen ! The thread is very instructive, indeed, but does not aswer my question, which is: why would automated, fake views have any impact on Google rankings? I've tried human CTR manipulation, and it works, although certainly not so well as 5 years ago (and it's goddamn expensive). Humans do make a real search on the real Google to really land on your page and then behave like humans, scrolling, rclicking, reading. That's why Google takes it into account. But I don't think fake traffic will be taken into account. Plus it's useless in terms of conversion. The only thing I see which can happen when using it is a penalty. I thought, perhaps it can boost a product on Amazon, but I'm not even sure. Or some crooks may use it to artificially boost the metrics of a website they want to sell. But from an owner's POV, I don't know what to do with it. What is your personal experience with it? How/Why do you use it?
