Challenge: Can I make $2 in 30 Days?

Day 5:

Uploaded few more lengthy articles with low competition keywords, but accidentally broke analytics so no visits from today counted.


The search console is doing something, but nothing useful so far.


Got one more backlink from social. Not sure what to focus on, so will just continue uploading content.

I know you said you don't want to just upload a post full of affiliate links. But, since you already have decent traffic you should be able to start monetizing. Since the site is brand new this may not be as easy, but if you have an average of 50-100 visits per day from social you should easily be able to make way more than $2 from just adsense in the first month. (Not entirely sure if a brand new site would be accepted in adsense).

What type of content do you post? Is it informational, how-to, product focused, news, listicles or what? I think either way you should be able to add some Amazon links to your posts and be able to make a sale or two to get your $2 from just what you've got going now. For your next article, try to add one paragraph early that talks about a product (doesn't have to mention a brand or any specific product, just any scenario where you could link a word to a product) and see what happens. For example, let's say your niche is cleaning. If you write a guide on how to clean coffee stains off marble countertops, you should definitely link words to different types of cleaning products, or mention specific products in the text.

I would love to hear more about your traffic! Do you share each post multiple times, every day on different platforms? When you share a post on Reddit or Facebook, does the traffic peak and then the next day you have to share again, or do people still visit the same post/link days later? Please share your typical results when sharing your articles on social. I know the journey is barely a week old but you have some amazing early progress just from social. Don't worry about clicks/impressions from Google, it will take at least a month.

I do agree with you that you can make 3$ or more in other means of online money making, and thanks for the suggestion.

But blogs and sites do take time to be able to generate traffic, there is google sandbox period, SEO, general Site and server optimisations and all those stuff that will make 1 month seem like a day.

Things might be a little different with all these AI resources recently, but still 1 month is short span of time

Day 6:

As the analytics were broken for a day the stats are kinda messed up, but still going up steadily:


The search console is finally working as it should and got the first click from organic search:


I haven't shared anything on social in a while, but there is still a steady stream of new users:

As someone asked, I haven't done much to promote on social media, just shared a few links here and there without much context. I think the articles are generally useful and provide insight, so people click wanting to find the answer to the questions and find out more.

Day 7:

For some reason website became unbelievably slow, not impressed by the $2 hosting

Day 8:

For whatever reason the statistics between Monster Insights, Google Analytics and CloudFlare do not match at all.

According to Google Analytics I had no visitors today, but it's hard to believe as I still get clicks from social.


Organic search is climbing rapidly, although no clicks sadly

Enabled CloudFlare CDN for quicker response times, now the first website load is dreadful, but nice and quick after.
The analytics are bonkers, I absolutely not getting that many visitors:

Hello 2 people who are following this journey. Here are the stats from today:

Analytics are working fine again:


The impressions are picking up speed, maybe some clicks soon?


The backlinks are growing, but half of them are garbage.

Yes u can also with blog. Forget about social media? Can get lot of traffic first day already when blog is new.

Not much to update, uploaded few more HQ articles, shared on some social media sites, not much change in stats.
