Help getting Meta Verified on Instagram while traveling abroad?

my situation is, im american, and all ym apple ID and app store is registered in america.

but im currently abroad in brazil for an extended amount of time

all my friends back home are able to see the subscription service and have their blue tick and are now traveling and are still able to keep it.
however my problem is, its not even showing up for me?

is anyone else also facing this problem? and if so, what have you done to be able to get around it and still get Meta Verified while traveling abroad?

If you are not living in meta verified subscription places, it doesn't work.

Some were successful with VPN and other methods but they charge you to be in the waiting list. Not worth it.

yeah that's what i thought, what counts as "living" tho, because i had friends who got verified in the states and then are now extensively traveling the world or different countries and their blue tick has not been revoked
