Same Title and H1 : is it bad?

with the site seranking.com, I have just analyzed my site and it tells me:

By having the same and <h1> tags, you’re missing out on the opportunity to present the web page from different angles and incorporate other relevant keywords. In addition, search engines can interpret the fact that you have identical <title> and <h1> tags as a sign that the page is over-optimized.
how to fix
Use different texts in the and <h1> tags.

Except by default WordPress uses my H1 for the title tag,

From my research online not really but I feel like there is no consensus!

No. It's a common practice. SEO-wise could be better to use separate title and H1

I also get this message in SEMRush. So to be safe I make sure that I keep the title and H1 different. It is not that difficult. Another good thing is that, it gives me an opportunity to add one more keyword variation in either or title.

I suggest you should take some time to make this change in your site. It will help you.

not really, bad or no, depends on what works for you..
sometimes, i put same H1 and title, sometimes, after 2 months i update the keywords
usually in my H1 i put my target keyword, and some of that keyword i put in title

and the title i update to match the description of my money site.

Most of the wordpress templates default the title and h1 tags. But I think a slight variation would help. If you manually add a H1 tag that is different than the title then be careful what your template is rendering. You may end up with a page having multiple H1 tags. You don't need more than 1 H1 tag per page.

They just want to tell you that you could use different texts for title and h1 to stuff more relevant keywords into these. Not sure if this still makes a big difference, as Google can read the semantics of both (and might select a completely different title for the SERPs if they feel like it fits better). So, I would worry too much about that message.

As with almost everything in the SEO world, it depends on how we use it for our benefit.

As that is your targeted keyword [I believe] it's not bad if you are not going to spam it all over the place.

Title + H1 and mentioning 1 more time somewhere in the middle is ok.

Avoid over-optimization in this case and make sure that whatever you choose for both is highly relevant to the content on the page.

As title + H1 should guide and inform the user.

In general, it won't hurt your website if you are not overusing it.
