It already says it no longer does anything useful i.e. popup add friends, etc...so what is the point?

Did you see the tester on that site? The old "invite friends" way doesnt work, but they worked out a different way..

It limits to a max of 12 invites. Use the share button instead, the stream is the most viral part of FB anyway.
The old "invite friends" way doesnt work, but they worked out a different way..
