How to find out how many votes a recently published post has.

Open the page of the post, go to the address bar, and replace www with old and press enter.
On the right you will see the number of points. This is the number of votes the post has.

Any way to know how the karma system work? Like, a post gets 1k upvotes, but you only get ~200 karma?

The following are exceptions where not every UPvote influences the author's post karma:
- The post was published more than 12 hours ago
- The post rating is higher than 400
- Author's post karma = 1
