Paxful has suspended it's operation now and earlier localbitcoin also did the same. How is this going to affect you? Will you be able to trust the alternatives now?

I'm fortunate enough to be able to buy crypto with normal bank transfers. I didn't use peer to peer. Doesn't affect me at all.

There are certain group of people who like p2p only. Like some people who want transactions to remain confidential.

Not at all. I use binance for exchanging to crypto.

Yes, most here do all the trades on binance. But it does not alllow all forms of payment like payoneer.

i used it before they set up their kyc crap, then stopped using it after they asked for kyc and never looked back

I was not using paxful a lot but I user localbitcoin sometimes and now it is also stopped.

What alternatives are there? Especially ones with as many gift card types/options with such good discounts and reputation/seller history system?

Paxful is already back
Not for me it's not @Salamouna ... I live in NYC and their new (seemingly more stringent) KYC rules do not allow me back on at all. I've tried everything from VPN to using a NJ address (which I also, secondarily live at), to making a second account with the NJ address. All it has done is gotten paxful angry and seizing the money I deposited into the account.
For whom is Paxful fully back? Non-US citizens and residents?

localmonero
reddit subreddits
or p2p with someone you trust
