I have come across a good expired domain which has good ranking backlinks etc. It used to be a forum many years ago something in like 2010
i was wondering if it would be good to restart the forum with updated content, however wanted to know before i start what is involved in managing a forum inc time and money

The domain is a co.uk and is car brand related

Any help would be appreciated

Well now with loads of bots rolling around you can't wing it alone you'll have to work with a team of moderators locally or VAs oversees.

Make a proper plan for marketing as well because setting it up and having a team of mods is one thing but without the inflow of users it's going to be redundant.

So all the best mate

im into cars and was a member of a bunch of forums in the 2005-2011 error ,what type of cars ?brand?

If it's Ford, you will have a shot at the UK locale :D

Jokes aside, forums require consistent contributions from multiple members so if you are confident with your community-building skills, go for it. Otherwise, it may be a burden for you over time with no promising return.

If you have a passion for cars and willing to manage the forum regardless of time needed and compensations, then you can go for it.

Results will appear in time as you're dedicated to it.
