Interlinking profile pages for more link juice.

Hey black hat's, I have performed a test but I'm undecided if it was successful. What do you think?

1) Created a do*follow profile link on flickr (let's call it website #1) to my info website/money website.
2) Created 100 further profiles, which are pointing to my flickr profile page (website #1) where my money website is linked, instead of pointing directly to my money website.

My idea was to create a kind of interlinking between flickr site.

Stats about my site: 3 months old, 60+ articles (ai + manual edits), completly new domain and starts ranking good compared to other projects where I did not create a flickr profiles.

Does google weight my first profile website #1 more because 100 other flickr profiles link to that profile and ultimately more linkjuice to my money site?

well, there are a few things we need to consider before giving a verdict...

1) is the flickr link indexed? If it's not indexed (doesn't appear in google when you type its full URL into google) then that link didn't pass any link juice onto your site yet, so your site's ranking is due to other reasons.

2) if the flickr link is indexed, compare where your site ranked before the link got indexed to where it ranks after the link getting indexed. If you've pointed this link to the homepage of your site you obviously need to check the rankings of the homepage, otherwise check the "before and after" rankings of the actual page that you pointed this link to.

But regardless of the above. I don't think a single profile link - d0follow or not - can do wonders for any site, no matter where you point it. The 100 tier 2 links could have helped a little bit, though if you pointed the link to a page that targets an obscure, low competition keyword. Such keywords can sometimes be nudged forward with such low quality links.

1) Yes, ~80% are indexed within 3 weeks, stable and still indexed.

2) It's not that easy to say, because the whole process to create 100 profiles took me a month and 2-3 weeks for indexing. I created the profiles consciously gradualy. All in all, therefore 2 months in which, of course, other factors could also play a role.

In my theory, the profile with the money site link should be weighted much higher, based on the interlinking, because it is no longer just an orphan page. Semrush says low to medium keyword competition.

interlinked or not, orphaned or not, profile links are simply not powerful enough to rank pages, especially pages with competition... or at least they didn't use to be powerful, I'm not sure anymore with google's latest and frequent fuckups...

But anyway, to answer your question: yes, tiered link building weighs more and also gives more link juice (and better rankings) if the links don't suck, are not nofollow, and are indexed
