Surely they wouldn't just paste the link into the browser and watch that way.

Watching Videos is the most important way to making money. You can share your video links to most social media platforms.

Yeah. But in order to rank a video requires that you get high quality views. I'm trying to figure out what YouTube defines as high quality views.

I think if all your views come from shares on other social media platforms, those types of views are ok, but won't help your video to rank easily.

I could write code, and have every account type the name of the video into search bar and then click and watch the video.

I could write code and have each computer just open the link to the video and watch the video

High quality views on YouTube come from engaged viewers who watch your content and engage with it through likes, comments, and shares

there are many ways to watch the video from the devices. But I want to know which is the best way in order to rank the videos?

I'd say that search based views are the best, either from google or from YT itself.
Note that if the accounts are blank and don't have a watch history this might not help a lot.

It's important to "warm up" the accounts and watch different videos from different creators, engage and subscribe to some as well as to yourself, views from subscribers are as important.
