What is the realistic advice for improving EEAT except link building?

I am not going to demand spoon-fed guides, I have read many guides about improving EEAT, but I found out those guides are very general and don't offer any realistic advice.

Like, how can adding an author box below every post improve my ranking? Everybody can add fake author boxes and suddenly their ranking increase? The same question goes to About Page, Bio Page, Contact Details and some Schema shit. These are too easy to achieve.

The most persuasive advice I have found is from Ahrefs, which indicates that backlinks or mentions from high-authority websites can improve the EEAT. This is harder to achieve. You will need money or time or both to get backlinks from high DA/DR sites; however, doesn't every SEO do that for years?

Ahrefs also points out that linking to high authority sources can increase the EEAT. I think this advice is legit. There are case studies that outbound links to high DA/DR sites don't affect the ranking, in fact, they improve the ranking.

So basically, I can sum up that links are always the most important thing, like this:

Backlinks from high-authority websites ===> Your website ===> Outbound links to high-authority websites.

But are there any realistic tips/tricks/hacks to improve EEAT except links?

I think you've basically covered everything @vikiendu - EEAT isn't really as big a change to the SEO mindset as many are suggesting. Most of the tactics that are given in guides are things that SEOs have been doing for years, and it's mainly to do with branding. Having consistency among your social media profiles, authority platform profiles, authors on your site, contact details on your company profile etc. Even if it's all fake, consistency is key.

Consistency - meaning details, addresses, names, occupations and so on matching over all social media presences and 'official' pages and properties.

Yep, check out how much love they give the author profiles and how much they can be followed and investigated to give social proof of authenticity.
