Programming is just one use case. There are many other use cases and those people will keep coming back to chatgpt.

It will improve with time. It is not good for writing code but it can help identify errors.

Yes, but that's how you learn. I say that without irony. I do scripts with ChatGPT. I often make mistakes, but I'm at the stage where I can figure out what those mistakes are - which are often of my own making - and correct them.
Something I have been unable to do despite manuals or YouTube tutorials.

Yes, it is a terrific tool for beginners, but far from being able to replace professional developers and programmers.

I was watching something about chatgpt/ai in general. this program said something to the extent this is the worst you will ever see ai or chatgpt. as time goes on and ai begans to advance those weaknesses we see will not be there. it's really only probably going to take a few years until it gets much better then what we spot new weaknesses and they it continues to get better. rinse and repeat it will.

I agree with you that AI's are not going anywhere soon but ChatGPT? Even though it's one of the most advanced AI's today, it will have a hard time keeping in touch with everyday updates and breakthroughs happening in the world.

Chatgpt will stay, its atleast writing somewhat original content, people even had success with article rewriter which were legit crap. I myself is planning an article site using chatgpt, currently writing appx 100 article per day, will see how long free api will go.
Only pain point is , its not writing a 1000 word article yet, so i have to continue my question to make it to 1000 words or so.
