Is someone selling aged BHW accounts?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed members with aged accounts
and low postcounts acting like total newbie dickheads recently?
They seem to be popping up in threads everywhere.
Either someone is selling BHW accounts or it's that time of year.

I agree with you. I think people from other forums are signing into their old accounts or the accounts are being hacked to attack this forum.

I guess he is selling those from another forum.

Might be the same guy who hijacked alot of BHW account with his scrapebox infected exe virus file.

This Thread should be sticky. So i suggest a MOD to remake this and let people know this for sure.

Yeh, i got a guy adding me on AIM and he asked me for some theme, I was like wtf u on about man, he said, u know what im talking about.

Then it came to him saying he posts 1 million comments on YT per day, manually.

I was like, u talk shyt.

He never replied.

Still don't know what that was about.

oxonbeef, ericsson, and raidel21 - thanks for the heads up. Interesting and pretty troubling after the crap we went thru with the infected downloads of supposed sbox and senuke a few weeks ago.

mods - I agree this should be stickied and further investigated. The AIM contacts about "themes" are hinky and maybe part of the pattern too.

I think the accounts were hacked. It seemed to happen about the same time as the infected downloads. We prolly weren't even aware that the infected files were being downloaded way before we noticed it.

You should be cautious about anything downloaded on here.

BHW is a high value target. There are many website owners on here. So, the desire to infect a computer of a website owner whose sites get 10K plus visits a month is a no brainer for bot builders.

Nice very true ox. Also you guys are right people on here are bitching back and forth like little kids. i was on here a long time ago under a different name and i can see the diffrence now. Even know the forum has grown a lot.

Wow, this is getting worse every day! This place is turining into something worse than DP, if that is even possible. I am seeing users with accounts from 2008 with 3 or 4 posts popping up all over the place and making all sort of idiotic posts.

What the admins need to do is a total purge. Get rid of all the accounts older than a year and with less than 50 posts. They are leeches anyway and won't be missed.

i agree and they need to add some sort of captcha system to posting/making threads to cut down on spammers might be annoying but it's something.

lol there's probably some IM forum somewhere with a buy/sell section full of people selling aged bhw accounts. I guess that's the sign your forum has gone mainstream..

I like the idea of a captcha and the idea of a purge to clean out the leechers and sleeping spammers, but we all need to step it up (even more) and really start calling out all the bs stupid posts, hitting that report button more often, and start inflicting some serious payback on those who think that this is a place where they can come and make a quick buck without contributing anything.

I love this place and I hate to see it devalued like this. It makes me mad :angryfire
