Am quite an avid badminton player, already have a small following in some of the badminton related websites and a small YouTube channel (only around 500 subscribers, but my reviews get 1-10k views).

I was wondering whether it would be beneficial to either invest more into growing the channel or make some sort of website (or a third option? if there is one)

Would love to hear what you guys think

create a shopify for free

dropship badminton products

i can create it for you with 89 products for free

Made a blog with a website, do some articles related and monetize your content, if i were you i Will take every video and ill convert into post on your web site, use crossover. Dropshipping could be good idea but you need focus ok what you like to do. I see you prefer a content creator

Yeah I want to create an actual brand

You can earn by running ads on your badminton niche website or social media channels and you can use an e-commerce platform to market badminton tools.

You can make money from your channel and websites by promoting and selling products that are related to your niche. If you know more about your niche than most people, you can start a training programs and coaching business. You can use social media to promote your business and keep in touch with the people who follow you.

Okay I think this is the best way for now. Other brands have tried to make their own racket and such and it has always failed so Im thinking maybe best just for advertisements for the time being/monthly donation.

Grow your youtube channel. It's much better option because as you grown audience you can earn through ads, sponsors and affiliates.

You can grow your channel to 1000 subscribers and get 4000 hours to get monetized. Since you are an avid badminton player you can get someone to record you playing and create many types of videos. You can create instructional videos and / or create video with clips of your best moments. If you know how to do trick shots with badminton racquets that can probably get a lot of views. Get creative and create videos that would be of interest to even non badminton players. It's a fun sport and I've played it when I was young.

As others said get Shopify and you can start with dropshipping badminton products. You can even try to ask companies to give you free products to review and if they are good you can sell them. Shopify also has blog option so you can create badminton related content using AI to speed up the process and yourself as badminton expert to verify information. With your knowledge you can get hundreds of blog articles and prepare posting schedule for them.

Good luck!

what is crossover? is there a service doing this?

You could try and create a website revolving around badminton and include a bunch of blog posts to up your SEO. Then, link your dropshipping website to each blog post showcasing the products you bought.

i mean cross selling, its a technique used by Amazon afiliation, but here you are nor only a page with tittles as "The top ten products on..." if you create a blog where you explian the products and the benefits it has social proof, it does have value for people. You can create a blog talking about something and recomend it. You cand use your social media and cross it with your blog, your money site.

Best regards

This is actually a pretty great idea.

I know @RoiBox is a badminton expert, with multiple trophies in his country. He can definitely help you

I´m more of a Paddle Tennis guy these days. So I do not like badminton anymore.
