Damn, I didn’t notice this before. Seems really bad. How is these sort of threads allowed? :(

It's a big grey area when talking about Blackhat and Illegal stuffs, but negative marketing/SEO like that thread shared above is a 100% no.

The only real problem is - google allow such click fraud. Google have tools and technology to block click fraud attemtps, but they dont give a ****. No matter if click was fraudlent or not google earns $$$ and thats only thing google cares about. I've had few clients hit with fake clicks, they hardly could do anything to fight with that. So topic should be:

"Click Fraud Service/Bot permitted by Google?"

In my opinion,
If it Works, Let the man eat.

What is your take about those "how to make money PDF books" that are sold out to newbies with rehashed non working methods ?, I think that is worse.

I was very disappointed to see e-books on sale.

I am shocked that you made such poll
"fck the law"? How old are you?
BHW is legaly established company and they need to follow the law

It is jokes bro

From the affected advertiser's technical point of view, these are fraudulent clicks. From Google's technical point of view, these are legit clicks (otherwise Google Ads systems would automatically be able to filter out or block such clicks / traffic). Google Ads allows these "manufactured" clicks to keep happening, so technically, from the technical point of view, Google Ads considers these "manufactured" clicks as legit clicks.
So, in other words, to know if such clicks are legit or not, whose technical point(s) of view do we consider ? Based on that, the inferences about such "manufactured" clicks, would differ. So, such a particular service's beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Shocked to see this on BHW.

I have been away for some time but surprised this is OK, always thought this was against forum rules.

If we are allowing this, then why not other illegal methods?

Thanks for pointing this out @Wilson Grant Fisk - could you specify which law is being broken here, under which jurisdiction and we'll be happy to review accordingly. ?

ebooks have always been on sale here since I've been a member, usually in the misc section unless they are for something specific.

Always appreciate your thoughts on this, however, most unlike you to do it publicly. I guess the more things change, the more they stay the same.
Thanks.

Although there is little legislation against click fraud in the UK, it can be considered a form of cyber crime.

Action Fraud in the UK consider it Fraud

I believe it may be illegal in California.

At the very least, a sales thread that states the bot's purpose is click fraud makes the forum and its members look bad.

Thanks for clarifying your point - so when you say illegal you don't mean against a specific law. Which is what we thought. As the laws evolve to keep up with developments in technologies we'll be evolving our terms. We'll review this service further and take action as appropriate. Thanks for raising it, however, you'll get faster results hitting the report button as you used to back in the day.

Welcome back @Wilson Grant Fisk as ever on the ball.

Asked - Is this legal?
Answered - it's not specifically illegal at this point in time as it first represents. But we'll review it further.
