Dear All, have you encountered in the recent days especially the issue that ads are not displayed in certain countries such as Germany, France because of financial ads verification through G2 LLC? Which is an external company doing the checks on behalf of Google. So far Google Search campaigns are impacted. The support says this is because of the finance keywords in the ad text or keywords selection. Is there any way around the verification? When i tried to verify G2 says its financial and i need to show a certificate, however i am not able to provide as i am not a brokerage firm. Just marketer. Any suggestions? Maybe also what kind of sites G2 wants to see or allows to be exempt from financial license?

Once advertiser verification is asked for a Google Ads account, then UPON that, there is absolutely no workaround for such a particular Google Ads account. There are 2 options if advertiser verification is asked for a Google Ads account :-
1) Submit docs (legit) for Google Ads advertiser verification (they manually check the docs submitted)
OR
2) Dump that Google Ads account and move on.
It is as simple as that.
Ofcourse, for certain niches, Google Ads does not ask for advertiser verification. For restricted niches such as financial products, etc, Google Ads nowadays asks for advertiser verification. Once advertiser verification is asked for any Google Ads account, then AFTER that (for that Google Ads account), there is no workaround.
And do bear in mind, that nowadays, Google Ads manually, performs the advertiser verification (done by human beings), for the docs submitted. So, let us say, a Google Ads account has a financial niche campaign running, the campaign gets auto-paused and Google Ads asks for advertiser verification and docs that are submitted pertains to a business selling vegetables, then Google Ads will reject the docs submitted, because the campaign in the Google Ads account pertains to a financial niche & not vegetables.

thanks for your reply, however i have not meant the google adveriser verification but the G2 Financial services verification, where a 3rd party is checking an application outside of Google Ads.

Ofcourse, there are ways for everything (or almost everything) in the world of black hat. That is yet another story, for perhaps, another day.

As far as I am aware, the advertised domain needs to be one that is approved by the regulatory authority as part of the license and that can be publicly viewed in the online registry of the regulatory authority. I would assume that it is checked that the domain matches. How do you synchronize this if you are not in control of the domain or the online registry? As OP mentioned that he is just a marketer and not a broker, he might struggle at exactly this point.

I am also facing this problem, may I ask if you have found a solution?

Theres no way round it bro from what i found.... its because now your domain has to match that as the financial register. There may be a way but i couldn't find it bro. You just have to basically be clever with keywords in your niche instead and do some brand bidding etc.

You need third party approval , if you don't have SEBI certificates. we done many our clients . they are promoting stock brokers ads.
