Reddit permanently suspended my main user account & it was moderating two subs. Well before I was banned I created alt accounts and made them mods but this was done on the same IP address as the banned account. The alt accounts have not received any messages about being banned but I haven't risked logging in to see if they are. What is the safest way to log in on the alt accounts or do you think they are banned? Use mullvad VPN & buy a cheap chromebook and/or use gologin anti detect browser? Should I wait 100 days to login so reddit to no longer stores the ip address data? Thanks

If the subs are still up you better login as quick as possible before the flag arrives to your alt mod accounts.
So I would use either of the two options you thought about, a cheap chromebook or an anti-detect browser.
It's important to use a clean IP for login, so better avoid VPN's and proxies to avoid any block triggered at login.
Can work on proxies too but the source must not be too spammed, so that is only known by testing with other accounts...
You can use a residential broadband IP (but not the exact last you used that got flagged), or, a mobile IP.

Residential IP addresses are less likely to be associated with spam or other malicious activity, which can help you get your account reinstated.
Thanks for the info. How can an account permanently suspended be reinstated? I appealed, but it was rejected & felt like an automated rejection. I've been searching for tips on appealing & couldn't find anyone sharing a success story. I see subreddit bans being lifted but not sitewide suspensions.

As my experience, they don't even look at requests. So it's unlikely you'll be unbanned even if you are wrongly banned. They banned me by a mistake, I expalined everything with details and SSs but nope, they rejected it.
If you ask me my opinion, find a reddit account or create a new one with a completely new IP on a different device (they detect your fingerprints). Then make your new account mod. That's all.
Be quick before they ban your alt accounts.
P.s. don't login your alt accounts and new account with the same IP and same device.

Use 4G proxies or restart your router. Encountered similar situation and because I was lazy enough to take actions all of the accounts that I was handling on the same IP got suspended. So use a different account and add the new account as the mod but login to your existing account with anti detect browser.
Did they suspend all accounts at once? Did they email the notification to all the accounts when they did? Thanks

I used temp emails so am not sure about that. Also am not sure if they suspend them all at once but when the first account got banned I waited a week and then, when I logged in to the other accounts; I noticed they were banned too. So the timing am not sure but if they find out the accounts are linked it might be quicker than you think.
But don't freak out with all the tips you have here I think you will figure it out. It's good that you already have backup accounts you might be lucky and reddit won't suspend those.
