Wikipedia mods remove broken link edits too now?

I placed a pretty convincing wiki exclusive article link from my blog in place of a 404 link (with no archive link) 3 days ago. Mods restored the link back to original broken link today. Are the mods retarded?

Some of the Wikipedia mods are really really precious about 'their' pages. Did the page you amended the link on have quite an active edit history, or talk page? I tend to look at how much activity these two sections have - if there is one mod doing lots of edits and such, I usually try another page.

I didn't check the edit history but that's an interesting tip I'll keep that in mind. Thanks Honestly some of these online platform mods have no life
