My channel suddenly tanked about 2 days ago. Looking into it further, I can see that none of my videos are being recommended and also not being in the "up next" after one of my videos has played. VidIQ has confirmed this.

Never come across this before. I believe it is down to content id claims.

Has anyone found a solution to this?

Same here, 60-80% retention, 10% ctr and shadowbanned. meanwhile people with the same stuff as me make 500k views per videos

That just means they do something that you dont'

Wait a little and keep uploading new videos. Another option is to contact YT support, but I doubt it can help with shadowban.

Yeah, I can see I only have 2 options. Upload non-id claimed videos and see if the ban lifts, or convert to another channel, delete all the videos and come back to it in a month or two.

Do you think I can just upload some regular content and it should ease the ban?

But are you doing anything to cause this such as content claiming?

Contact YT support, they will explain to you the causes and possible solutions.

Happened to me just recently too. I can tell I got shadowbanned from the Impressions stat. Down to almost zero. How can I get View If I don't have Impressions? And this happened right after I got content ID claim which I disputed and WON. But Youtube still punish my channel.

I don't know what to do either. But I want to raise this issue because obviously there's a bug on Youtube system regarding this. Throttle a channel but forgot that there's possibility they might need to lift it. So for any Youtube staff lurking here.. Fix it, you basturds.

Happened to me once as well on YouTube, they never admit there is a thing as “shadowban” though. Just gotta wait a bit and it’ll pass

Ah such a shame. How long did you have to wait? Did you delete any problematic videos?

Have you ever bought views?

My uploads since 17th March don't get much (if any) suggested view traffic anymore (I'd get 50% sugg views with total of 20-60k views per video, now lucky to get 5k). I have searched on the internet/reddit and it appears users are having issues with what is being recommended to them either through what they are subscribed to or on the home page. My guess is it is some sort of algo change or youtube BTS and we've been caught up in it. I know of a channel that produces original content that has also been stung with this.

Bots are easier to use and access than ever, We have new public AI tools coming out weekly, cough cough State actors have a bone to pick with Google, seems like a good target, period. Google suffered the worlds largest ddos attack a few years back and didnt talk for a year, There's channel destroying outages that get reported in analytics what seems like every month now, the CEO resigned, the supreme court is deciding whether the algorithm should exist as we speak(right?). I personally have found other means of financial support outside of youtube so I can continue making videos as a hobby. The site sucks mainly because there's no real leadership at google. Just a bunch of broke programmers trying to keep a fire from spreading too much until they can find another job. As someone who grew up and went to school with the employees, they're just lazy bar tard druggies with a silver spoon in their mouths. Never had to work for anything, too high to care about anything its horrendous. One of them even used to speed through traffic everyday in his flashy sports car to work. I mean criminal speeding, he was going 150 mph+ through traffic. He ended up getting killed by a prosutitute on his boat. There's video of it too, they were doing heroin. These are the people running the site. My friends who work there currently complain about drug culture/issues within the company.

Spot on.

Just realized I can't find my videos from March 17th onwards using YouTube search, so prob shadow banned.
