A little background:
I have been in the SEO / Digital marketing game since 1998. Started off at a poker site affiliate and leaned how to spam usenet, aol, compuserve and later yahoo groups to send traffic to online poker sites. Was never very lucrative but it was fun to do and gave me online poker playing bankroll. Over time with rake paybacks it became ok then black Friday basically wiped all that out.
I got into lead gen for new home sales and learned ways to generate leads online for people to by manufactured homes in 2001-2006. Then I got my first client. That launched a full service automotive digital agency focused on SEO and Craigslist Ad Posting. I had software developed that would take data feed of car dealers inventory and allow us to post their cars to Craigslist. Craigslist went from free ads to paid ads and that destroyed that business overnight. No warning. I sold the handful of remaining SEO clients and began to aimlessly drift and bounce around until I was overtaken by depression.
I became estranged from my entire family. Was locked up in psych wards 4 times the end of 2014 and was homeless. Drifting pissed at the world and myself. Turned to very compulsive gambling. Did not drink or do any drugs. I stopped drinking alcohol early 2012 and to this day have not had another drink. Found out I was allergic to it, I kept breaking out in handcuffs.
I reconnected with my family March 2015 and got back in good graces and turned my focus on repairing relationships, my state of mind and building my business.
As of today I own an offline business that only advertises online. My offline business will do 5 million in sales this year. I have a partnership that I kept through all that mess on a very established lead gen site that generates auto insurance leads, is completely hands off now but generates a nice residual, it is how I supported my family, gambling and living in a fucking car and psych ward for 6 month after a blew through a ton of cash.
TLDR: Had a hell of a ride to get to this new journey.
This new journey will be:
I want to generate recurring revenue as hands off as I can be.
The main goal will to be to test and design SOP that I can have VAs do the heavy lifting. Right now I am doing most of the heavy lifting. But I enjoy the work and love seeing the results.
The truth is once I figure something out, no matter how much money it makes I get bored with it so I have to keep a lot of things going.
This will be a journey to drive local business lead gen and client services to 100K per month gross. More likely than not lead gen set up and dev will be the main focus. I really hate dealing with client service and I wont do it anyway, I will hire people to do it.
Lead gen sales is less troublesome. Ping Post Collect FTW.
Earlier this month I set up a new LLC, banking and pumped in $25,000 cash. This will be the only investment I make for this. In the past I bootstrapped the craigslist posting software and at the crash had over 1100 clients and was generating gross rev of over $600K per month.
I will be using AWS for all hosting and dev. Except PBN that will be spread around the world where I can get dedicated IP addresses, but to start with will be on AWS.
The first project is to get mass page sites dialed in. In a future post I will show how I find good local biz type domains with ok link profiles for lead gen sites.

Received payments from all three clients totaling $5850 for website designs and GMB set up and optimizations. All three have $1000 per month ongoing SEO / GMB Optimization. In house assistant helps with GMB and website content. I am doing wireframes and outsourcing design to long time friend / provider.

- Launching lead gen sites. Multipage Wordpress and HTML sites. Leads / Call will be sold direct to clients or to lead gen companies. No affiliate networks. Will ditch wordpress for this sooner rather than later.
- Cloud stacking software dev.
- A local business PBN
