What do you guys think about GPT-4?

It's getting better and better! Where would it end?

Most important new features for GPT4:
  1. GPT-4 can understand much more complex inputs
  2. The new model can handle input prompts of up to 25,000 words
  3. GPT-4 also supports over 26 languages, including low-resource languages such as Latvian, Welsh, and Swahili.
  4. It's not limited anymore to only text prompts (now also images)
  5. 82% less likely to respond to requests for inappropriate or otherwise disallowed content
  6. It's less likely to fail when implemented in an app to play a certain character.

it's insane for small tasks, can save you loads of time ngl

It's way better then GPT3 in terms of generating more words for articles

This is so wrong.

ChatGPT is a smaller version of GPT models.

It's primarily for chatbot apps. GPT models are more for generic uses
Wut? Do you even understand what you're saying here.

"ChatGPT" is just a name of their product. It's not some bespoke different model "that is a smaller version of GPT models made for chatbot apps". It's just a frontend over a fine-tuned gpt-3.5 model.

After "chatGPT Plus" the free preview is simply using gpt-3.5-turbo which is the same model they make available over their api but with some fine-tuning. In chatGPT Plus the model is not the 3.5-turbo model. You can notice the difference in quality. it's likely that the turbo edition is their 3.5-legacy model with 4/8 bit quantization, hence the reduction in quality.

But why they are limiting the training data to Sep 21 still , they can limit it to Sep 22 also

chatGPT plus.
You can select which model you want. I chose GPT4 and couldn't get in.

Modestly better than 3.5-turbo, massively overhyped. Main improvement is the much larger context token size. Too many people who have no idea how ML or specifically LLMs work pulling baseless opinions out of their ass, mostly coming from YTers and social media posts meant to be clickbait.

The real money seems to be in making ChatGPT clickbait, not using ChatGPT.

No it can't work with images.
