My friend is from frank furt Germany. (Pakistani Family). Her mother is abusive and wants her to get married to her cousin. She succeeded also. I mean she took her to Pakistan and threatened her to marry or she will kill her. And now she they return to Germany. I want to know if it's legal in Germany. because she has married in Pakistani law. can she do something about it? filing the case against her parents or filing the case against the marriage because she was forced to marry him.

Please Advice

If she report her she may end up in a safe house.. How old is your friend?
 
she is scared so much. she thinks she has to pay a fee to file any case. And her studies will be no more. She has no home other than her parent's house where her mother is queen and casually beat her. She is in final years of law studies

she dont work. She was only studying thats why she is scared to file any case. because she had to leave the house

what about the law? is pakistani law marriage legal in a german country? can she do something about it? her mother already got success to manage the legal document of marriage in Pakistan. but can you use that document in Germany?
 
You can work neben job, might be enough for her to find apartment.. Thats really sad! People like this deserve to be sent back to origin country. She went for a better life in Germany and now she is creating the same enviroment at home as she had in Pakistan.. Just sad
 
Your friend should contact the German Police. There are no "Paki Laws" in Germany, only the Lander (State), National, EU laws and International recognized laws. There are other alternatives, like this one: German Women's Council. You should write there, too.
 
I would suggest taking it up with German lawyers and keeping this platform devoid of discussions of this nature.

Not really sure what your point is? To me it seems that her mother has sold her for papers for that guy to come in Germany.. Have heard of cases like this.. Maybe go and talk with police officer

I am sorry for it. But I dont know what to do other than post it here to get some good advice. All matter is money. I am searching for a legit way to help her where is dont have to pay to fight back against her mother's decision. She dont have any money and she is the victim.

Her father is a statue of the home. Never involve in any matter. All the control is in her mother hand.
 
careful getting involved in most cases when people need help they find it themself they don't wait for others to find it for them to me it seems like your sticking your nose where it doesn't belong she is 28 years old living in one of the most progressive countries in the world pretty sure she can find help if she really wanted to just my 2cents

I understand, but this is not the right forum to seek advice pertaining to a potential international human trafficking case. There's a huge possibility you're going to run into some bad advice here. I suggest you book a consultation call with either German or Pakistani lawyers, or better yet both.

no no, her whole family is settled in Germany for decades. The issue was her mother want her daughter to get married to a relative.

I totally agree with you.
If she would contact the authorities, they would move her immediately to another safe place and if it is a serious thread then the authorities would make sure that none of the involved people get near her.
I assume that she lives for many years in Germany, she is 28 years old and she studies laws. To me she already knows what to do.
