What do you guys think about GPT-4?

Every mfer under the sun is talking about it. It's so overhyped by now that it's nauseating.

At this point I don't care how good or bad it is. The FOMO is so high now that any attempt of getting a real review of gpt4's will be flooded by the FOMO noise.

I believe gpt3.5 is good enough for most tasks and it's really affordable. Gpt4 might have groundbreaking performance for some tasks but it's too early to comment which ones.

I believe is good, but they just used or mentioned they added extra feature to charge extra money, but besides that the AI is aswesome and has prove to be really useful.

But knowledge cutoff is still the same as GPT 3.x so not that much impressive.

Gpt-4 seems to excel better on data less common. It hallucinates a little where it just has less of an idea. Makes sense as it was trained on 100x the data.

the tokens are a little misleading. Each output has about the same limit as 3.5, but with 32k tokens it should be and to keep track of a conversation roughly 4x longer and use all of it in output consideration.

interestingly, i am seeing better output for 3.5 where it was close but 4 got minor details better before.

For the one paid for today,
The difference I saw was the inproof context in understanding languages,
Also,the number of words generated increased

It's killing it!
1) same blog posts I am getting 2800 words instead of 1800 words
2) better content lot better.
3) better structured content.
4) only problem is its slow and I get a cap of 25 question per 3 hours today.
Yesterday it was 50 questions.

I've used GPT3.5 and GPT4.0 to translate a french text into dutch of about 4 A4 pages long yesterday.
I just asked the following prompt: Please translate the following text from French to Dutch.
I then copied the text in.

GPT3.5 was extremely quick. It stopped sometimes but I just typed continue.
GPT4 was very slow and after some time got the message network error. Had to chop the text into pieces.

However I tried it again today and GPT4 worked fine.

The translation in GPT4 was far superior to that of GPT3.5.

GPT4 has been limited to 25 chats per 3 hours today
