All are bragging about GPT4, but

why not about their increase in the pricing model?

They increase it because they have enough people willing to pay for it, and also because the running costs are insanely high. It's still very cheap, unless you plan on giving it a massive use. In that case, you better be running a profitable business that can cover the costs. That's the point of a paid API. It's an investment. It's not supposed to be like putting coins into an arcade machine. Unless...well, unless you just have a lot of money to spend playing around with it. But for the most part it is meant for developers looking to build something profitable with it.

why not about their increase in the pricing model?
its kinda shit lol , such a shit limit for the price we pay

seems more strict too i can't do my usual bypasses on it

what mean? it was 25$ for me and now its 20$

why not about their increase in the pricing model?
Because there are other factors at play, such as increased research and development costs or improvements in the underlying hardware. That explains the high prices.

I dont care about the great value for money price, I care about the damn limit of 100 requests per 4 hours! Now gpt5 is the new gpt4! lol

Because right now no one care about how much you have to pay, is a must to have it and make your life easier, homework, lists, summaries, is to useful that people don't care to pay more just for have it and save time.

why not about their increase in the pricing model?
It is true that people often emphasize the remarkable advancements and capabilities of GPT-4, while the corresponding increase in pricing tends to receive less attention. The excitement surrounding GPT-4 is primarily due to the improvements in its language understanding and generation capabilities, which can potentially revolutionize various industries and applications.

However, it is essential to consider that the development and maintenance of sophisticated AI models like GPT-4 require substantial resources, both in terms of computational power and human expertise. As a result, the increase in the pricing model may be an attempt to offset the costs associated with these advancements.

While discussing the capabilities of GPT-4, it is equally important to acknowledge the financial implications of adopting such advanced technology. Users should carefully weigh the benefits and potential return on investment when deciding whether to utilize AI models like GPT-4, keeping in mind that pricing is an integral aspect of this decision.

Direct OpenAI API is still cheap, compared to article writers or other AI tools that charge by characters, but essentially use the same OpenAI API...

GPT-4 API Pricing
  • gpt-4 with an 8K context window (about 13 pages of text) will cost $0.03 per 1K prompt tokens, and $0.06 per 1K completion tokens.
  • gpt-4-32k with a 32K context window (about 52 pages of text) will cost $0.06 per 1K prompt tokens, and $0.12 per 1K completion tokens.
GPT-3.5 API Pricing
  • It’s priced at $0.002 per 1K tokens, which is 10x cheaper than the existing GPT-3.5 models.

I’m not sure why everyone is so cheap with this . It’s still cheaper than hiring a non English writer that will write the same quality , if not worse content .

I can see why cost is a primary concern for many individuals. Nevertheless, utilizing AI-generated content can be more economical than engaging a non-native English writer who may produce similar, or even inferior, quality material.
