Indexing Web2.0 articles on Google

Is it possible to get web2.0 articles (articles on blog services) indexed in Google?

I mean sites like blogbright.net, postheaven.net, blogfreely.net, squareblogs.net, zenwriting.net etc.

I looked at some of the articles I published sometime a year ago and they were still there live, but Google didn't index any of the pages. The articles are hundreds of words long unique articles.

They have been pinged at one time through many ping services etc.

How can these articles be indexed in Google?

Pinging is no longer a viable method of indexing. Do you have any backlinks pointing to your web2.0s? As far as I know those domains have little to no internal linking from the main domain to subdomains, so you'll be needing some way for Google to find your web 2.0s, or be forever a lonely island in a sea of web pages. At the moment your main options are either building backlinks to your web2.0s or using an indexing service to give Googlebot a kick up the arse.

Aside, if your articles are old but haven't been picked up by Google in all this time, it may well be time to give them a freshen up.

Ok, I'll link to some of these articles from a couple of my own sites. Maybe Google will then index these articles.

You could try linking them to social media posts
Even if you get them indexed, it won't make a noticeable difference in terms of ranking

Web 2.0 sites like these have blocked article indexing, you should check them before. If it's allowed, then publish quality content and share it on social media mostly it will get indexed.

Google doesn't index these types of backlinks anymore. Doesn't mean your not getting juice from them, it still gets crawled for juice.

An article should only be indexed if your trying to rank it in serps. In that case should be ran through your own domain and done through GSC.

Backlinks soley for the purpose of backlinking should not be indexed, Google doesn't want those links in their serps.

OP, just search on Google like this - site:*.blogbright.net

And filter results to check how many pages are indexed recently like last month, or last year etc

If you don't see a lot of pages indexed then it's shit site, good for nothing. Avoid these.
