Hello guys,

I don't understand how a blog page which has approximately 1000 words can have 2500 keywords detected on semrush ?

I don't want to post the page in here but i've checked the backlink profile on the page and there is nothing. They don't have any powerfull RD that would help increase the number of keywords. There is also no anchors.

I wanted to know if you know a black hat technique that can increase the number of detected keywords. You should know that among the 2500 detected keywords more than 90% have no direct relation with the article but rather a relation with the industry of the website.

Thanks !

If the page content is optimized and high quality. Google starts to rank it for related keywords.

Let's say you want to rank for "best laptops for gaming" and you have written well-optimized content then there's a chance that your page gets ranked for "best laptops", "gaming laptops" etc. (This is just an example.)

They must have a HQ informative article on that page which Google favors.

Or the website has 301 redirect from some really strong domain. Or both.

Everything is all about keywords (Content) and backlink profile
Aged and well written articles can rank up for more than 2k keywords and it's not a new thing :D

You can choose some LSI keywords and use them for h2,h3 tags + one or two paragraphs to cover the subject

if you share the URL then we can discuss more about it

You almost certainly can't rank for keywords you've not targeted either directly or indirectly with the use of synonyms. The fact they rank for lots of keywords means they target a main keyword with several variations and it would definitely be a popular topic.

That's how.

Of course other off page SEO must have been taken care of, unless the keyword is super easy.
