How do SEO Link Indexers actually work?

Hello everybody,

I am quite new when talking about SEO Link indexers like: GSA Indexer, Scrapebox Rapid Indexer, Omega Indexer, Linkdexing, etc.

So I wanted to know how do they actually work? What is done behind the scenes? Are they effective in 2023?
Are they just stuffing backlinks to my URL on the other sites or are they using more sophisticated methods?
If they are just posting backlinks, I guess they can ruin my backlinks portfolio with low quality backlinks, right?

I was using GSC inspection tool and sitemap.xml to index my websites, and it used to work like a charm, but since 2022 October, the websites that I manage received a big drop in Googlebot visits so the new content is not indexed very well.
That is why I am searching for new ways to improve indexing of my sites. Any suggestions are welcome

Honestly, I think social media traffic is the way to go because they get crawled often

TIER 3 sites may benefit from indexer. It is not suitable for main sites.

But from your personal experience do those indexers really give you any benefits?
Because I have a feeling that in 2023, Google algos are really smart these days and those TIER 3 / TIER 2 backlinks are pretty much worthless

There's no set formula for a link indexing service, but they're mainly using a combination of backlinks on already indexed webpages (including Google News sites), and manipulation of various Google services (url inspection, cloud, slides, faked chrome browsing data, adsense approval submission, etc...). At least these are the methods I've managed to reverse engineer.

From the tools you mentioned, GSA and Scrapebox build links on statistic websites (which in turn need to be indexed nowadays, so completely useless), and Omega used to set up 301 redirects to the urls to index, and request indexing for those 301s via GSC - though some people have reported they now build links on spammy pages.

When i used Wix website builder, i noticed Wix platform can index almost instantly webpages what you just created.
