Should i forget about my domain?

If you read my other post you'd understand why but in general. I have a domain that I created a good amount of post on and they were ranking really well till one day they all dissappeared (around 26th Feb). My links are still indexed yet when you search for it on google they don't show at all, all my keywords removed.

I can write an article today and tomorrow it will be indexed but it will never show in the serps.

It's a weird issue that I think you guys haven't faced as well so can't find much help on it.

Domain is 25 DA and 3000 good backlinks, its better than starting from a fresh one. I believe Google did something to my domain because pages still get indexed yet don't show up.

It's in the product review niche and now been a week since this issue

I think domain is now unusable because what's the point if it shows indexed yet never shows on the search at all.

There are also no manual actions or anything. Makes this even more confusing.

I believe that may have caused it because the google update "product review" update happened but what's confusing Is that my keywords never move lower or anything. Google literally removed it completely from the serps.

I could also write an article that's not product review related such as "why my dog barks" as an example and the post will get indexed but it will never show up in the serps.

Did you keywords/links also just dissappeared? Any idea how long you waited? I'm also trying to be patient but it's difficult

One of my site is facing the same issue. Firstly, the posts are not getting indexed. When I manually submit them for indexing they get indexed but never show up in the SERPs.

@j0n1508 May be you are right. What will you do if your site is placed in supplementary index? Will you keep trying or abandon the site?

Exactly!!! Thats the same issue is what I'm going through.

It feels like pointless to work on the site since Google doesn't even let us know what's wrong or what we can do to fix this.

What is the status of your site on Bing? Are you getting any traffic from Bing?

My site that I am talking about is not getting anything from Google but still has some 50 - 60 visitors from Bing everyday. Google's traffic is almost none.

Yes! Most my keywords rank on page 1 in Bing. But let's be honest, we want google traffic

So we both are facing the same issue. Google removed our pages/posts from their serps

I used to rank on paga 1 as well in Google now complety gone.

If I were in your situation, I would recommend continuing to work on your site and not giving up. I have actually faced a similar issue in the past, where my website was placed in the supplemental index. However, I didn't abandon the site and instead worked hard to improve it.

Eventually, my efforts paid off, and my site was released from the supplemental index and moved into the main index. Then my site's keyword rankings improved dramatically, and many of my keywords ranked on the first page of Google's search results.

So you basically just wrote new posts? Even though it was getting indexed but never showing up.

Just seems like alot of work considering all my keywords/links are basically gone from the serps

I wouldn't simply just junk the domain. It's only been a few days since the 26th, and Google has data farts like this all the time. Unless the site in question is the only one you work on, I'd personally give it a month to work on other projects and let any dust settle before deciding on what action to take.

Thanks, it is my only site and I worked hard on it so to see all keywords and links completely gone/removed makes it disappointing.

I think I'll just wait till the end of March.

I would keep working on it cause I believe it is most likely to start recovering soon. Just have patience and keep posting quality content and optimizing your website.

Nothing at all, I actually wish there was a message there so I know what is going on. To have EVERY link/keyword removed is crazy.

Have the same issue. Main url is indexed when I search with site:url but none of the 80 posts is indexed, nothing in the serps even for ultra low competition kws. Url is several years old but had nearly no content, since November I reactivated and add daily content.
