Website loading EXTREMELY SLOW. Please help!! Lighthouse Error: Failed to find the Largest Contentful Paint

Hello All, I have a website that is running extremely slow, I have run several diagnostics on it and I cannot figure out the issue at all.

I keep getting the error when running GTmetrix: Lighthouse Error: Failed to find the Largest Contentful Paint

Any help would be gratefully appreciated! Can pay if necessary!

Get a decent hosting in the first place. Not some $2.99 a month shared thing from Dreamhost that you are running I presume.

Also, don't share your site publicly here. There are all kinds of people lurking around.

What is your hosting? What CMS do you use? Do you use any kind of CDN or a service like cloudflare?

Thank you for the insight I have removed it. Do you think moving to a VPS Server would benefit? Client is not willing to pay the $100+ a month for dedicated server

Dreamhost (cheap version), Wordpress, and no CDN.

These guys are decent, although they introduced bandwidth limits recently, which I do not like. Still, you won't need more than 6TB by any means - https://chemicloud.com/pricing - Get the cloud 1 VPS for like $25 a month and then, if needed, Stackpath CDN on top of that for. Those guys changed pricing too I believe to around $20 a month.

If your client is unwilling to pay at least $50 a month for hosting, then either explain it to him or get another client.

If you are building on Wordpress, which I presume you are, don't forget WP rocket. Combination of a decent hosting + WP rocket + CDN should be enough for just about anything.
