HODL or crypto bot

I have around $1000 to invest. I can’t decide between holding Bitcoin as I have heard some talks of a bull run coming or should I invest it in to 3Commas crypto bot and use one of their pre made Gordon bots. Which way is going to make me more money in the long run?
