I did too but adding some manual editing here and there. Many people are using Ai and I don't think that's the problem

I happen the same with 2 new blogs I released, the first thing I see on Google Webmasters Tools is the sitemap_index.xml is 0 or another blog that has the same issue is sitemap_index.xml showing total links, but if you click on sitemap it is empty,
This didn't was the case from the start sitemap was all good, but after checking multiple Blogs I own, all blogs that drop in recent updates and even the new ones after 1/2/3 weeks max they get sitemap_index.xml 0 or inside 0
Im not sure if this is normal... I believe is a bug from Google or something ... I even have a blog that still gets some good traffic after 2 big drops, and sitemap_index.xml is showing 0. (the blog sitemap was okay at the start before google updates, the blog was released 2 years ago)
The way I see if sitemap_index.xml is 0 then the blog is affected and will not grow anymore. even if you search with the site:

This is a blog released 3/4 weeks ago and got this issue 1 week ago ... i have the feeling is almost impossible to make a new website right now.

This is a screenshot of a new blog destroyed by Google within 2/3 weeks of release.

If anyone has some information please share because is just weird what's really happening, im curios if anyone else has this issue with new release blogs or old blogs.
Are your keywords still showing on google though? Because mine does not at all

Same happen with my site, same niche, but my site is only 2 months old, and I think that is a reason why all my keywords (about 300) have been lost. I will wait some time to see is there will be change.

Mine as well but the weird part is, other sites with weak content is still on google which doesn't make sense.

Any idea what you're going to do if nothing changes when the update ends (3rd march)

It might be due to the update. Wait for some time. Also, check your website backlinks, articles, on page etc. If you find any issues resolve them.

Checked, everything is fine. It's just google side now.

I would understand my keywords ranking lower etc but not completely dissappeared. That's just messed up

Its seems update is causing wonders , please wait 2 weeks it would be fix , don't panic

I will wait for ranking and continue to work on the site, and if there is no changes, maybe will change tactic, analise competitors work, and implementing their way of work.

Lol it really is ,I wouldn't be panicking If I saw my keywords on google regardless of their position but not having them totally dissappeared. So that's just worrying me.

Will you be changing niches? I mean you lost 300 keywords. If it doesn't come back by end of this update then it's seem tough to continue the same niche knowing what happened

This is not for the first time, on other of my sites also happen through the years, so I will not change niche, only will change the way I write articles (adding more or less headings, longer or shorter, depend on that what is rank), for now I will continue like before, without changing anything, after 2-3 weeks will see what will happen. And that is a new website like a said, only 2 months old, real results are showing after 6-12 months. I need to give a time to Google to find out that website is have topical authority and exit from the sandbox.

Okay I see this is my first time and basically first site so that's why I'm stressed. I won't be doing anything till maybe after this week.

Will probably have to change to another niche on the same domain though if all my keywords don't come back

That maybe the worst decision, because google already indexed your posts, know you niche, have some authority based on it, after changing niche maybe site will go down, just wait a few weeks and then look your competitors that rank what they have, and copy their method of work, that is my opinion.

On all my 2 new blogs, what I release if I use the site: ... on google, is shows the pages are indexed, and even the new pages get indexed fast max 1 day. The issue is they get indexed, but if I search the same title, I'm not even on the first 10 pages. On the start, I was on the first 1/2 pages, but after the sitemap showed 0, and Google Search Console showed 0 impressions, I can't find them anymore.
Is just weird the blogs get in 2/3 weeks broken by Google. After releasing so many websites in the past 15 years is the first time to experience this.

Okay definitely same issue....i was also ranking well and then no keywords showing

Checking competitors doesn't help me. My content was better, they had worse content than me....same keywords, I was even ranking before them.

So that's what I don't get.

A new keyword/post just got indexed now. Yet keyword not showing on google.

Weird why I'm still getting indexed but the keywords never appear

Something is definitely wrong.

I want to mention this. Bing shows my keywords....

Google does not anymore.
