[Journey] Faceless YouTube Channels to 15k/Month

Hello guys,

I'm making this thread to look back on how far I've come and give any advice and motivation I can to you guys. This blog thing will also hopefully help me stay consistent with my goals and keep track of them.

Some context real quick. I would've liked to start dropshipping or something along those lines. However I thought it would be too much trouble for me as I am currently 16, and most selling platforms require you to be at least 18. So instead, I decided to try YouTube. I started my first channel in October of 2022. I thought about making an interesting video channel like "Daily Dose of Internet." I posted one video and switched niches. I found out that it would be quite hard to get into the niche in the first place because of how saturated it was, as well as it being questionable if I would be able to get monetized with that type of content. Also, the amount of time I spent looking for the clips was sad, to say the least lol.

I then found out about search based channels where all of your views come from search traffic instead of relying on a fanbase. I thought that would be a great type of channel to create so I started uploading "How To" videos. I was extremely motivated when I started and uploading multiple videos a day. At first the views weren't crazy, mostly because my SEO (Titles/Thumbnails/Descriptions) were trash. I saw a little success but nothing crazy; I was still happy, though. As I started researching how to get better at SEO, I discovered BHW. I learned a lot of stuff from the forums on here, which I am extremely grateful for. I improved my videos, and I started seeing more traction. More of my videos started to rank higher on search, and I started bringing in a decent amount of views.

I monetized my channel on the 15th of January 2023. I did use some panels for subscribers as they were lacking compared to my watch hours. And that brings us to the present.

Currently, I am making 13$ a day with about 10k views a day. I was making around 15$ a day for a bit, but it dropped down a bit. I have about 2000 subscribers and my channel has a little over 500k views. I am thinking about starting to outsource my work, like video creation, because I am doing all of the work right now. It takes a good amount of time to record, voiceover, edit, create thumbnails, and do SEO for a lot of videos everyday. And I don't have that much free time because I also am still in school. :weep:

I am also thinking of starting a similar channel and use the same video ideas but making it a little different because my niche is more quantity over quality lol. That's why I want to start hiring people, although I don't know how that really works. Especially if I am underage, I would appreciate it if you guys have any advice on that.


MY CURRENT GOALS:

Short term goals
  1. 25$ a day by the end of March.
  2. Start looking for people to outsource video creation to.
  3. Create a second channel with the same idea.
Long term goals
  1. Be making 50$ a day by the end of June
  2. 100$ a day by September.
  3. 6k/Month by the end of December 2023 (about 200$ a day)
I also want to branch out into other niches of YouTube, but right now, I don't have any capital, which is why I am working on this channel where I can do all the work for free. I'm going to be doing weekly updates probably, although I might post random updates if something big happens. If you guys have any questions put them in this thread, and don't dm me. If you guys have any advice/feedback for me or in general, I would really appreciate it ;).

I've always wanted to start a faceless youtube channel talking about software, business, marketing, investing stuff, but never made my first step since english wasn't my native language and I'm afraid of my accent being funny.

Just wonder, when you try out do you have a fixed niche? I wonder if most people start out with a specific niche or they can start by sharing whatever they like, get feedback then slowly develop into a specific niche later.

Also when you say create another youtube channel, is that because you want to try different niche, if not what's the reason not putting same content on one channel and focus growing that one? And do you use brand account for each separate channel or new google account?

If you want to start a faceless channel, then go for it! I've found that most people don't mind accents as long as the information is good.

When you first start a channel, if you don't know what to start with, start with a broad niche. Once you've tested out the waters, you can start narrowing it down to sub-niches that you have noticed do better than the other sub-niches in the niche.

I would create another channel with the same niche because my channel is based on tutorials. For example, "How to tie a tie." So the whole point of my channel is to rank my videos on search. So if I had two channels, then I could take the same idea and change some of the keywords a little bit so I would have twice the chance of ranking. I'm not sure how well that would work, but I thought I might try that out. I haven't made the second channel yet, so I'm not sure how I am going to do it. I know I won't try it until I have a team that makes videos for me.

What kind of videos are you making? What is your niche?
 
Your goals are aggressive but I know that they are achievable in You Tube. I have seen miracles happening in You Tube.

Have you tried to take your YouTube content and cut it up into clips or tried starting a tiktok account with the same niche? good luck on your journey

P.S. I saw that pretty much you can do youtube using ai tools maybe a suggestion if you feel its helpful

Although I don't enjoy making videos (They are tutorial videos), I love the process of creating a channel and making it grow. I also wanted some money to start other business ideas with, so the money is a great bonus.

It wouldn't make sense for the videos I have right now, but I plan on making other YouTube channels in different niches in the future, and once doing those things would be a great idea; thanks!

Yeah, I'll do my best to keep everyone updated, and I've been looking into that as it seemed really interesting. Thanks for the suggestion!

WEEK #1:

I only uploaded nine videos this week because I was busy with school and stuff. It worked out fine, though, because one of my videos ranked really easily and is already at 10k views. It's still bringing around 1.5k a day, and it's not slowing down. The rest of the videos are pretty stagnant, but that's how it is with this YouTube module. I've had videos with 0 views but start getting a lot of views after three months, so you have to be in it for the long run.

I averaged about 11.5k views a day this week, and for revenue, I averaged around 15 dollars a day, so both of them went up by a little. I also finally made a bank account just for YouTube, so I am going to start looking for people to outsource the work to. I passed the 2k subscriber mark as well, which is pretty cool. :cool:

WEEKLY GOALS:
  1. Upload 30 videos this week. (I will have a good amount of free time this week)
  2. Start the search to start outsourcing work. (Probably going to be using Upwork)
