So you all convinced me to buy some old domain names and pump thousands of chatgpt generated articles on them, did anyone do this, how did it work out for you?

Yes, it does, all comes down to keyword research and editing content with grammarly.

Yes, because we don't want Google algorithms to catch it. Also optimization by using plugins like yoast can help

so it still has to be edited?
Yes. Chat GPT isn't the "end-all be-all" that the media makes it out to be. It still needs editing, it may have inaccurate information. It's a tool created by people who make mistakes.

If you edit the content properly and make sure it makes sense - then yes, it do rank. That's what I tried.

It does rank without issue.

At least for the latest blog I pushed out

Some of my posts rank without even being edited (simply what AI makes), but probably I will get some kind of high bounce rate penalty later down the line, because articles contain errors most of the times.

My personal opinion: ChatGPT content ranks (if you do keyword research right) but at the same time it's easy to outrank it.
That's what I'm testing now... trying to get keywords where Chatgpt content ranks and then manually write content for those keywords.

Considering that the improvements in the language structure have been impressive and improving day by day , considering that there are so many people out there who have managed to make Chagpt say and do unthinkable things , I can safely say also based on my personal experience that not only the content of my site is indexed , though 90% written by ChatGPT but metrics such as bounce rate ( of 4/6 % ) for the last two months , attest that artificial intelligence has done better than me . Moreover my site is monetized Adsense ( thanks to ChatGPT , without which it would have taken me 10 times longer to make more or less the same to articles ) , so if I have Adsense , I have chatGPT to thank , because in my previous non-pass review I was challenged that there were too few articles .
In my opinion you treat google too well , which is nothing but a bitch that responds to the highest bidder and that's it .

In my own experience, do keyword research perfectly and edit chatgpt content by Grammarly or other tools and post it with Copyfree images.

Working great if you are good at prompting.
The idea of pumping thousands is not necessary, rather it should be more organized, interlinked, and relevant.
so it still has to be edited?
Not necessarily if you have done the prerequisites properly:
Keyword Research
Keyword Mapping
Content Structuring and Planning

Key to a great output from AI is a precise input prompt that contains all details.

For example instead of asking AI to generate an outline for an article topic or keyword, feed all possible section/sub section titles as input and ask it to come up with the best outline without missing anything.

Avoid AI models for primary keyword research, it's a language model.
The best place for primary keyword research is the search page SERP results.

Well said!

After getting content we need to edit them.
That what really matters. Without that it will be similar to what others are getting.

It will be interesting to hear the results. Personally, I have never had such an experience. Good luck

ChatGPT is one of the type of content making process so it might get the results or fully drown

So, believing only this one and trending chatGPT seems un natural to SEO imo

It does, if the proper keywords are chosen. In my opinion, the content should be edited manually and proofread.

Content that is created by ChatGPT can get ranked depending on the quality of the content.
However, we can’t guarantee that the content will be ranked on the top google serp. If you are interested in getting your content ranked better then edit it manually before publish.
