Anyone who's autoblogging with Blogger.com?

I've been autblogging with blogger for some time now, using my own autoblogger software and you have to be very careful, as blogger has some pretty advanced spam blog detection, and will terminate your blog and any others that follow the same pattern.

I wrote my autoblogger using PHP (stand-alone app) and ZendGdata which contains (very) complete gmail, and blogger account access APIs. I decided to try something different and instead of using RSS feeds, it instead used google and scraped information from websites, and if the quality score is adequate, it would publish it into the blog.

The glory about this is one app can control hundreds, even thousands of blogger blogs. It does not contain proxy support for google, but that is something I am considering.

If anybody is interested in it, I can provide it as a free BHW exclusive.

i think alot of people here would be very interested in that kenblack

I know I am :)

Blogger has something like mail-2-blog feature. So you just have to send a mail to a specified address to post an article in your blog. That makes autoblogging with blogger very simple. I also use a custom developed software (in c#) to post, but the most important point is rewriting the article. I mean, making it unique before posting. Otherwise, you will be spotted and sandboxed fast.

The mail-2-blogger feature requires editing the content so this is NOT autoblogging.

As for sandboxing or duplicate content penalty, read what Matt Cutts of Google has said...

Code:
[URL][COLOR="yellow"]http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/duplicate-content-question/[/COLOR][/URL]

And...based on other SEO experts I have read, I believe the dupe content warning is a "myth" perpetrated by those who want to sell rewrite software. The downside of not rewriting is you will not have unique content to attract and keep visitors.

No one has proved the duplicate content penalty exists! No one!

Sounds good. I will get it ready, and release it.

Hey, Ken, if you have a 100% autoblog solution for Blogger, you will be the "Bloggergod"!

I will eat and sleep at my keyboard in anticipation of your share.

Ir is work in progress, but is otherwise fully functional and works with both Blogger (using the new Gdata interface), and Wordpress via XMLRPC. It uses a configuration file (text) at the moment.

In Future versions we will be moving to a web GUI for campaign management, as well as a modular interface for different scraping methods, including RSS, Amazon, Youtube, etc.. in addition to website scraping.

I appreciate that you are going to provide BHW members with this. But, here is the #1 aggravation for noobs when it comes to such systems: Your reply is a foreign language to us!

You are talking as if we all know what Gdata, XMLRPC, web GUI, and "It uses a configuration file (text) at the moment." mean. We are already lost in translation.

When you put this together have some BHW noobs (like me) try to work it and see what happens before you release it. And, we will help you create a User Manual and/or videos that are in "noob-speak".

I have tried every system available on the market and NONE deliver 100%autoblogging for Blogger blogs because they are either pure hype or too complicated for earthlings to understand and use.

hm... never noticed there was such a demand for this.
I guess one of the main problems is that most solutions are lacking perspective and try to feed blog content to a new blog - there are other sources of content to use, and even more suitable for the format. The footprint is key.
I will look if our plugin can be modified to publish elsewhere - right now it's focused on the local WP blog where it runs, but in all fairness, it should not be that difficult. With these said, WPC requires a lot of resources to run (forget about hostgator and other shared hosting options), but it remains a WP plugin (you don't need to know anything about rockets in order to use it). Will keep you posted.

I've got about 50 autoblogs on blogger.

I never use more than 5 blogs per blogger account. It's best to have a gmail account because there are some issues with the email/post feature if using other accounts, such as signing up for blogspot with a yahoo address.

These dont make much money for me, my thoughts are that I'm using the wrong monetizing for these. No big deal...just a matter of selling something else, but I don't have time to spend on it. I have several hundred autoblogs on domains and wpmu.

Here's how to do it on blogger.

GEt a .info, use wordpress and create auto posts with some tool...you can find many in the forum.

Use the plugin (freebie) subscribe2 and email the posts from a specific category to your blogger account at each blogspot blog. You can send each category to a different blogspot blog.

There is another post on this forum that goes into more detail, check it out.

It's the best way i found to use blogger for an autoblog.

good luck.

One thing I've been doing for some years is using a PHP article spinner. It saves
an article on my server, which is emailed right into my Blogger blog. It's very
simple, but it works very well. I have it post on auto-pilot, randomly, and no more
than one a day per blog. I post to several dozen blogs on Blogspot/

As a Blogger user, I would love to know what you know and in a lot more detail.

There are hundreds of posts here on BHW regarding blogging. What is the url of the specific post you are referring to?

Also..is your method autoblogging or semi-autoblogging?

How about some detail and one of your Blogger blogs to look at?

Looks like another method that can solve the autoblogging on Blogger problem.

Well, how about more detail on how you do this?

There are thousands upon thousands of Blogger users so the demand is certainly there. We have been ignored because WP offers so much more as for SEO, etc. But we are here and hungry for a 100% autoblog solution for Blogger blogs.

You know, maybe I am being cheap or stupid or both. Maybe I should hire a coder to develop an app or method to make Blogger blogs truly 100% automated?

Sorry, just in my frustrated mode again.

I use a customised version of software I used to sell a couple of years ago called ArtiFact. It's been modified to save the article locally (on the server) rather than displaying it. Once the article is written, with or without embedded links, I use the php mail system to read the article, and fill out the rest of the data from a flatform database. The database is updated with the posting date and time to prevent posting too often in a short time scale, and the keyword is removed from the stack, and shuffled. The list of blogs is also shuffled.

I use a cron job to visit every 17 minutes, and post the first article it finds where the last post time has exceeded the minimum time slot. This means that blogs are posted to in a random order, with a random keyword, and spun but readable content.

WTS blogspot.com autoposting

blogspot limitation - 1acc - 50 posts / per day

20$ per 1000 posts (20 accs)

Appreciate the offer but you should be in the "Services for Sale" section. Plus you only have one post as a newbie and it's selling something. Not cool. I don't know enough about you to spend money with you.

I am going to port my blogger autoblog application to Windows, since most of you will probably prefer this over a Linux server PHP script.

For those still interested in the PHP version and are willing to use it in it's current state, I will be happy to send it to them.
