Is this a good idea and can it bring in views/subs? I'm planning to try a YouTube career as I already have a great idea for a channel. Need to know how to gain traction in the beginning :)

Create good content and a bunch of shorts, shorts is what can give you the initial boost.
Be active on other social media platforms as well, TikTok would probably be the most beneficial one.
IMO it would be better to contact some people in your niche and ask for a collab / paid promotion rather than spending on facebook ads which might not get you subs at all.

Create videos in advance, keep a treasury. Upload one video each day, promote your channel via ads, interact with your followers, subscribers and comments. All you need is consistency.

You can definitely do that, post your youtube video on a Facebook page and boost the post! It would be a nice boost if your channel is new.

It will cost you a lot. You can make profit from this only if you are using it to create a brand.

Which niche you plan to do the channel ? How do you plan to monetize ?

Running ads on Instagram or Facebook to promote your YouTube channel can be a good idea to increase visibility, generate more views, and potentially gain new subscribers. However, the success of this strategy depends on several factors, such as the quality of your content, the targeting of your ads, and the effectiveness of your ad campaign.
However, it's important to track your results and adjust your strategy as needed to ensure that you are getting the best return on your investment, if not change your strategy.

How much money are you ready to spend for this ? Because these ads are very expensive.

Don't know what your youtube channel sells products, and how much your budget is for advertising. Because actually advertising through FB and IG is a good idea but also very expensive
