How much would you pay for a backlink like this?

Hey boys n girls,

I was offered a deal for a backlink on this website. They do not usually link to other websites (at least I could not find any links to external websites) and after doing my research they seem to be a very known brand with HUGE traffic.

This is an e-commerce website from another country and this website is NOT in english. They proposed a do-follow backlink with any anchor I choose (up to 3 words).

The price they asked is around the 600$ mark.

Do you think it is it worth getting a backlink from this website even if my website is english and this website is not? Is the price fair to you or do you think I'm overpaying?

As per my understanding the link will be placed in the middle of a text they usually have at the bottom of every page explaining what products they are selling at that page. However, the text is in another language and my anchor will be in English, there at the middle.

What do you think about this?

if they put your link at the bottom of every page like you said you'll probably get very little link juice out of it as sites as big as this one tend to have dozens of links above yours, and AFAIK most link juice flows through the top placed links.

And the same with their traffic (most of their traffic will probably not even see your link, much less click on it)

I don't think you'll get much of anything (traffic or link juice) from this link, but if you're one of those guys with $10k monthly budget for link building alone you'll probably want this link as it's a good deal for SEOs with deep pockets.

In this case the link is definitely worth getting if you can afford the $600 fee. Cheers!

You can’t find external links probably due to black mailing of more monies or simply they remove it away after some time - think possibilities

It depends on the quality of the backlink, as well as the page it is linking to.
