Is cold email dead lately?

I'm not new to cold email. About a year ago I was averaging 10 new leads per day off of sending ~100 per cold emails per day.

That same campaign, the same email source, and same everything. 50 emails sent and 1 response. Normally I'd get a lot more.

Has something big changed through the major SMTP service providers (Google)?

I have an high inbox rate and everything is good as far as email security.

50 emails are not enough to conclude that it's not working.

You said that you have a good inbox rate, so it's not related to Google or any other provider.

Maybe it's time to change the offer, list source or the email subject/copy.

Split test until you find-out what's working now.

Cold emails still work fine (I'm a business developer myself).

It's all about strong personalization and well crafted emails.

Still works for me. Times are bad economically though so it depends on your offer.

No, it's not!

I get 50 emails per week, and roughly 15 of them turn into clients.
It became more sophisticated and needs a lot of understanding of that specific niche/task, but it's still working.

I even check my own spam box, reply to some emails there and turn them into clients.

Depend on which country you target. Like in Southeast asia, people will not likely to check mail regularly.

It is definitely become more harder, with more personalization, AI generated ice breaker etc, but the numbers you sent are too little to conclude anything.

Anyone here using Hercules List? They have a fre eplan where you can send 1000 emails a day.
They allowed cold email hustle. Is this a good serious platform or bot traffic?

Does these cold emails convert with direct affilate link? 1000 emails that should bring you 5 sales (in theory) .
I have seen a youtube video but it looks like that many affiliate beginners who make money with Hercules List, using promote cheap products from Digistore24 around $9-19....

5 sales every day would be between $50-100.

What you were getting a year ago is an amazing engagement rate. If everything is the same, as you have mentioned, it had to drop at last. I started managing some affiliate offers on ActiveCampaign automation accounts for a client in the middle of 2021, he was getting live feeds, and the results were amazing. It started to gradually drop, with everything same, and gradually towards the middle of 2022, we stopped working together as the open rates took nose dip. So results cannot be the same for years in my personal experience.
