Will this hurt my channel?

Hi fellas, recently I purchased watchtime to get monetaztion on a couple of my videos and all went well, I’m wondering if this obviously artificial watchtime (200%, 7:00 min avd on a 3 minute video) will harm my channel / the videos and get them shadowbanned or something along those lines.

It's hard to tell but I believe it won't affect your channel considering that's only one video.
You could try buying some regular views to lower that watchtime if it really bothers you.

I always believe that any act that is against the You Tube guidelines is eventually going to cost you something.

The beauty is - You will never know about it.

My simple advice is, refrain from all the shortcuts and put some efforts in creating content to earn watchtime. If you are serious about your You Tube business then this is the best approach.

I don';t think so, since if it was possible many would do so to shadow ban their competition.

If you are planning to work on channel long term, do not test these things there. Test on a small test channel and if results are good , then only try on main channel. Because, you cannot reverse these actions. Once taken, harm is already done.

It will not cause very bad effect. Many people buy these type of views for getting channel monetized. But you should also target to get organic views.
