How Do You Make H1 Not Bold?

I have tried everything and I can't make the h1 header not bold. I did the font weight normal code, and that didn't work. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks!

Where / how did you apply did you apply font weight normal? Inspect the element to determine if something else is overwriting your styles.

Have you tried adding an !important to force the override in your custom CSS, eg

font-weight: normal !important

The first H1 tag all the way at the top. The name of the website, example Redrubies Jewelry. I put it in here <span style="font-size:12pt;"><font face="Verdana" color="#666666">EXAMPLE REDRUBIES JEWELRY</font></span></h1>
