Update: fouth Month ​

Site age: 4 months.​

Articles published: 115.​

Earnings: $0.60 -$1 daily.​

Visit: 90 - 100.​

The year didn't start well in terms of content production and Google Serp. It appears to me as though my site Is still in the sandbox.

That said, in my previous post I mentioned that I've found a cluster of keywords that I would use to rev up my content production.

So far I've written 10 articles from that cluster.

My intention is to write 3 articles a day going forward.

The site is averaging about 120 page views per day with 100 visits.

Making between $0.60 to $1.00 per day.

Note:
All of my traffic is coming from bing and other search engines, not Google. And the thing i've noticed with bing is that once your article is good it can easily hit front page within hours of publishing.

Of course, I want Google, but for now I will settle with bing until Google say "I do."

Update: 5th Month for my new site.

I was frustrated, stressed out, tired, and just got lazy and bitterly disappointed at my site not taking out with Google but was doing okay with bing and the others.

My site way making $80 per month and then it started to decline to about $50 per month in May. I couldn't take it anymore so I sold the site for $2000 on May 20, 2022.

I then started a new site in July, added content, and then added it to ezoic. It got approved in September and since then hasn't been doing bad at all.

In other words, we are back on track to my initial goal of $2100 per month.

What has changed?

My mindset (I am hungry and determined)

My seo knowledge (I have learned a lot more from here)

Doing slio and topic cluster (this is a game-changer imo)

And the big one, Google love this site (it is on a fresh domian and the content index and rank fast.

Small update

The site is really taking off now. We are now hitting over 250 visits a day with most of it coming from Google.

Just maybe... we are on to something special here.

UPDATE

My new site is now 8 months old. Here is the progress it has made so far.

My strategy is still there same which is to target low Competition and Volume keywords and to do topics cluster.

Also, almost 75 percent of all my articles was getting the snippet for their main keyword phrase for about a month. Then suddenly they all vanished . But otherwise, things are looking good.

Note: Today, 7/2/2023, I got invited to join Ezoic premium. So there is no earnings yet, additionally, I am on the 14 days trial offer and then I will go with the month to month contract. Any tips?

The niche is spirituality, it's something that I like writing about. And yes, the decline in traffic came as a result of losing all the featured snippets. But I have maintained my rankings otherwise. Other sites have gotten the snippets but I have maintained my rankings.

Also, I am now looking at search Console for other kws as well.

Any idea on getting back those snippets?

Maybe I lost them because I removed my site's footer with the legal pages? Even though I have those legal pages ( terms of use and the likes) in my main menu.

Update: 8 months old site

Things I Did Since my Last Update
1. Gather keywords from seach console ( I have found a good collection of low volume, competitive keywords)

2. Observe how the site is ranking, and user engagement. ( The site is doing good with both variables)

3. Set up social media pages (I heard that this is important for EEAT)

My Thoughts and Observations
I believe that keywords cluster and topical authority is key for ranking a young website with zero link building quickly. This is exactly what I am doing and I seeing some level of success.

And just as an experiment, I wrote a few articles on high volume keywords and I am getting massive impressions but no clicks because other sites are occupying those top spots and my site is still young. The graph below indicates this on those specific days that those keywords are sreached for.

Things I Plan to Do

1. Post 20 articles for the upcoming week
2. Start posting on social media platforms
