I came across this supposedly leaked layout of Bing SERP layout with the ChatGPT integrated. Looks pretty neat.
-The homepage of Bing will now have a chat box and not a search form.
-They are kind of adding ChatGPT as an additional tab which would make it separate and IMO will have less impact on the normal searches if it ends up looking like this (Perhaps a little less impact than most had anticipated).
What do you think? Do you think Google's BARD will follow suit with a similar layout?

They didn't beat Google search, let's see what they can do with chat ai.

They don't have to. People will come for ChatGPT. :D
I guess it will depend on how Bard will be in performance. Head to head, Google might have the advantage since it is already a default in many devices and applications. But again, we don't know how Bard really looks like and performs.

I'm curious to see how Bard is as well but I can't imagine it being worse than ChatGPT. If anything it'll be better; I don't think any single company on earth has harvested as much human data and human generated text as Google has.

its not leaked i think, all has access.
Well yeah, we all can access it now.
Though according to the source I linked to, it was still considered leaked at the time they posted.
Its in the open now.

MS Dis doing good with this move, let's see how google responds.

Seems like Microsoft is back in the game.

I can't access it.

Maybe it's available for some countries I guess.

This!

Google make people can't live without them

Microsoft need to find who does the SERP design and walk them out the building. It's filled with so much shit, borders between elements us just way too small. They clearly don't have confidence that people will scroll down.

"get everything in above the fold! nobody ever uses this thing for more than 50ms, so anything below the fold will never be seen".

Any decent designer will point this out. So they have an idiot in charge.

They need to relax, and cut all the crap out, else all the benefits of AI will just be wasted.

BARD is already stumbling

Seems that's why google keeps all ads on the same page

On Bing i've got position 4 on a great commercial keyword. But I'm the last thing on the page, 4 organic entries.

I want a SERP that has 10, not 4 and a pile of horse shit over my screen.
And about that horse shit...Bing is a search engine that doesn't know if it wants to be a search engine, a social media platform or whether it wants to be Yahoo (now a news aggregator)

They were worried Mr BARD will be late for the party and Mr Chatgpt will have it all, so they had to quickly find a way. To at least try. I mean, you can't watch all this unfold in your face while you do nothing

See if you search for "Cheese" on Bing desktop, it's like getting punched in the face.

Cheese info, cheese nutrition, cheese Images, cheese health guides, cheese news, cheese history, cheese polls, cheese sites, cheese adverts, explore cheese, PAA cheese, cheese related searches. And right at the bottom there is a "See results for" box with Donnie Wahlberg.

Google has like 30% of that stuff. I find it amazing that they don't compare themselves to the market leader and reflect on what they do different. It's so obviously wrong.

I swear Bing would take more business if they just decluttered their SERP. You just automatically think "I'm not going to find anything of value in this".
