PR6 Domain , Should I buy it?

I found a domain (PR6) expiring this week im thinking of buying it, but im wondering if i bid on it its still gonna be PR6 when i get it in my account?

Try to see if these are temporary links that they may have paid for, because if they are then most likely they will be removed as they will have stopped paying for them, (ex. paying $200 for a homepage link on a PR5 site for 1 year.) Be sure to check the domain age too. Chances are if it's a few years old then these are permanent. Also make sure that you are not just buying this for the PR, because PR is not as important as you think it is.

Thanks for those info, I have checked and this web site has some backlink from some .edu blogs and it's and 12 year old domain.
I know that PR is not important but a lot of people think it is , so i was thinking to sell links or even make a blog and flip it. And are you sure that it will loose his PR? because i know people who pay alot of sch a domain.

Google always tries to downplay the PR effect, but it makes a difference, if even a smaller one. I've been doing the domain buy of high PR one's (many you can get for the regular $10 fee surprisingly) and the PR value stays.

Definitely check on the backlinks and make sure a good assortment and if they relate to the domain or what you want to do with it. That makes a difference too.

that's a no-brainer purchase. I wouldn't care if it had 5 links, 12 year old domain would be suffice for me to make an impulse purchase.

Very good, it is a 12 year old domain so it can compete in any keyword and Google will love it. Domain age is a big factor in SEO.

12 years old. PR6. Natural SEO work. Even if you flip it quick you'll still turn a good profit. Or just put up a lander and sell links over at DP.

Even if it expires tomorrow doesnt mean you will get it. Most of the time the registrar will continue to contact the owner and charge a bigger fee for them to get the name back once it expires. What is $9 to them when they can charge $200 to keep it. You might be waiting a long time for the name to actually go up for sale.
